What firmware can we flash on what model??

Hi,

I am beginner. I have W700i phone. Someone says, you can load w810i firmware on w700i.

My question is how can i know which firmwares are proper for which models? Is there a way to find out this.

Recently i bought K610i. Now, if i want to flash different model's firmware, what models' firmwares can i flash to it? Which are compatible.

Could someone answer me with clear details so that it will help me alot in understanding.

Must have same platforms, same hardware - then it can.

For example K750 is DB2010 platform, W800 again is DB2010 and have same hardware.
K800 DB2020 -> K810 DB2020
K530 DB2020 -> W660 DB2020
