K800i problems
Hello All
Fairly new to this and have tried searching the forumns. Charged up a K800i not used for some time and functioning ok. Took the fully charged battery out last night to change sim and it would not restart at all with either sim. One flash from the red led when trying to power up or charger connected.
Went to Online de-branding and software upgrade service SonyEricsson (SE) mobile phones | WotanServer.com to try and update software and sort it out. Downloaded the drivers ok and got the phone recognised but in the diagnostic window instead of giving the EROM number it is simply showing invalid account and the process failed so I can seemingly go no further. Can anyone help in laymans terms.

Thanks, I've looked at that and downloaded and tried running XS++3.1 but when connecting the phone this is all I get

With nothing else. According to the guide I should be able to see and match up my eron type much further down the list. Still somewhat in the dark.... please help if you can. Thanks

Further update - was looking at the thread K770/K770i Flashing red light / Dead :( €10 for you to buy a few beers?? who had the identical problem. So I tried KKClient and the eron update worked -
Press "5" and "2" keys, hold them together and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...

However, the phone will still not turn on and I still get the one led flash so by all accounts nothing has changed! Help!
