Can´t get my K800i flashed

Hi,
Im trying to flash my K800i since a week. But nothings seems to work.

Since I put another Sim Card it wont start. Sometimes if I press start:
Nothing happens, the IR flashes red one time or 6 times.

I have tried SEUS. If I press and hold down "C" nothing ever happend. If I press and hold down 2+5 (have to try it around 5 times) it tells me:

FAILED TO DETECT PRODUCT

I tried it x-times, nothing ever happend. Always the same error popup.

So I downloaded SeTool2Lite1.10 and upgraded it to 1.11

I tried to install FIRMWARE, MAIN, FS and CUSTOMFILES

I ALWAYS GET AN ERROR MESSAGE.

Anybody a idea or hint what else I could try out??

Hi Heiko,

I had a similar problem, except that I had a W580i that went dead after the SEUS. I used JDFlasher and recovered my phone by going to an older firmware - everything works great now.

As long as your Main, FS and Customization files are good, you should be able to recover the phone - of course, there might be other problems that I may not know.

after I tried a different Battery (the third one, borrowed from a friend) I managed to Flash MAIN and FS but the phone is still dead and I get this error log when I click Identivy.

This are the files I used:

If you have flashed the FS, you need to load the customization file, also called the CDA (preloaded_config.xml and customize.xml are the two main files that need to go under 'tpa/preset/custom' folder of your phone).

Try to get the file that is compatible for your firmware.

i also have a k800i with the famous wsod. i wanted to flash it but i cant find the restoration file for it. R1ED001 RED52. i checked the download section but could only find the main and Fs files. am using setool lite. can i flash without the restoration file?? and if not where do i get it???

As far as I know, the rest(oration) file is for DB2010/12 CID49 phones. You need instead a custom(ization) file.

Did you try write new gdfs, and flash them again?Use XS++ for that action.

just don't say a word with "flashing new gdfs" it will ruin your phone
