sony ericsson w995..how to change fonts?

good afternoon guys..

im just a newbie here..

just want to ask if anyone here knows how to change the font size of sony ericsson W995..

i cant find it anywhere in the settings..

unlike the other sony ericsson phones,the fonts are much more smaller..

compared to W995,its bigger..

i just want to change it to the regular sony ericsson font size..

i hope that there's someone here who can help me..

I'm not sure but i think U need to fontengine.xml file (TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/FONTS)

Here is the original file:

You can use sony sktech fonts as well, they are not too big ;)

how do i use the fontengine.xml?

you need 4 fontfiles:

the regular one
the bold one
the italic one
the bold/italic one

then you need to edit the font.xml file with the names of your fonts

the fontengine.xml contains the default font size for small medium and large. you can edit it if you want to make them smaller or bigger

the xml files can be edited with notepad or similar

BEWARE: do not use a font.xml file designed for other phones then a2 DB3210 as other phones (like db2020) have a completely different layout in font.xml and using it will cause the phone to not boot anymore!!!

i will add the default font.xml and fontengine.xml files for w995 so you can use that one for editing.

Use FAR2+SEFP plugin at your own risk. Before going to do this first keep back up of your original (Font.xml) file if something goes wrong then you can restore it.
