Another noob trying to unlock w395

I have spent countless hours searching google for the answer and have found none. Can someone help me or point me in the right direction? All I want is to have my phone unlock so I can use my sim card in America. The w395 is from Orange in France.

I have used settoollite and xs++ and I dont think it did nothing for me. I have a usb cable that I can connect to my pc but even when I remove the battery and hold down c and few moment later my phone becomes awake and start charging when causes xs++ to crash.

As of right now I am willing to spend the extra money to get it unlock via IMEI, if you guys know a good place, but is there any alternative to it?

I think you need the right drivers for your phone. If you use se update service, but DONT update it, just quit before it asks you to update. Then you've installed the right drivers

Well thanks for the info but I just paid 20 bucks for the unlock code. So its all good now.

W395 it's a Sagem phone, therefor you can't mod or unlock it for free.
