Hep with K800 with wrong GDFS
So basicly what I did, was first I flashed my K800 with the wrong firmware, meant for a K810. When I tried to start the god damned thing, the SE logo would come up, then the normal and flight mode options. But when I tried to select one, nothign would happen.
So then I accidentaly flashed it with a blank GDFS, when I tried to fix my phone. So now I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't respond to anything, and can only be connected to my PC by pressing 2+5 during connecting. And also the infrared port is blinking, when I try to start my phone.
That's what you get for flashing as a noob.
And just for the record, I don't have a original GDFS backup of my phone, other than from the first wrong flash.
Is there any way, I could get my phone to it's former glory.
Help, please.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Hep with K800 with wrong GDFS
Is totally wrong what you did.
To make GDFS restore you must be the original software on the phone rather than another model.
At the moment your phone is dead, can not be repaired at home - should take into service centre.
Sorry for my english, I use google translate.
Re: Hep with K800 with wrong GDFS
U flashing (Usb cbl) with K800 file, and identity, if gdfs Failed
Repair gdfs with Ultimate D-Unlocker or the other.
Phone change sert Red > Brown
So you can go on write ......sw.gdfs and > eroms

Re: Hep with K800 with wrong GDFS
u can use d/uitlment unlocker very easy to use and resets the sec units in the gdfs to make it work
Re: Hep with K800 with wrong GDFS
I flashed my phone with my old GDFS file, but I'm not sure did it work.
Ok, I did some research and checked my situation.
The infrared light blinks half a dozen times when I recharge or try to turn on my phone.
This is a sign of EROM failure isn't it? Can I flash my EROM, even if my phone thinks itself to be a K810.
How sould I proceed, can I flash the EROM without any problems, or do I have to get my phone flashed with K800 firmware first?
Thanks in advance.
