W580i EROM gone bad?

Hi all,
This is the first post i have on this forum and I really like the tutorials. Recently, I obtained a "broken" sony W580i from my uncle. I'm a techy guy so I thought a sony broken? Yeah right... Well anyway Whenever I try to turn it on I get 6-12 ish red flashes from the right side of the phone.It happened to many others so I used to tutorials here

to try to help me. I tried more then one software, flashed the phone a few times, and still have had no luck. I would appreciate if anyone could recommend me anything. I do not have a charger for the phone, just the USB cord BTW (and its the OEM one that came with the phone). Also the phone is white, locked to att/cingular with EROM ID 52 .

y evey one think its the erom i will never know use se tool light press the ident button then hold the 2 na d 5 button then post up the log its probly just needs a new battry :)

have u reflashed it ? if the battrys ok

i reflashed it.. but it's not working...

OH YEAH.. i remember when i first got it i tried a different battery from a working w580i that the guy who gave it to me replaced it with and it still wasn't booting. note that was before i flashed it..
