Quick thanks for info leant and downloads (k810i upgrade)

Hi all - a quick note of thanks to the community as a whole and topsony in general for the info and resources on this site. My k810i has suffered with a problem for ages which I've never heard anyone else complain about: my phone is synced to my work outlook for calendar and contacts info, when I get a meeting reminder my phone sounds the appointment alarm but when I select snooze to be reminded when the meeting actually starts I'll find that the alarm will re-fire 1 hour late IF the original meeting was booked during winter time AND the data has now moved on to summer time. Always felt this was very strange, recently set appointments were fine but those historic regular meetings were getting missed because my phone wouldn't remind me!

Anyway, having tried all sorts of resets, clear out, install all the PC stuff I finally decided that a firmware upgrade was the only way to make any headway (from R6BC002 to R8BA024), so far everything is working correctly with the new firmware. In the process I got very scared when the phone started up with an unusual "Welcome" screen following the main and FS flash with me having used the wrong custpack (a k800 one from the xs++ screen because I hadn't learnt about how to find & use the original custpack at that time). When i saw this welcome screen which was expecting an unlock code (but no stars appeared when pressing buttons), firing in the dark I tried 12345 and got a failed, 2 attempts left message. In the end I just entered my sim code and everything worked, all subsequent power cycles now show the normal sim unlock screen. Using the wrong custpack left the phone unbranded ... as I wanted it back to normal I tried loading the custpack but it didn't take, so I hit it will a full reflash & custpack again (then loaded raider's camera driver) and voila, new software, no appointment snooze problem so far, phone looks like standard UK O2 model again.

Long winded ... but thanks to you if you've posted with info that helped me out with my many searches !! :)

OK ... I'm confused. O2 and Orange are totally different networks - why would I want to use the Orange files? My CDA was 102799/32 R11A before I stared.

Aside - I've not yet figured out what the HB1 custpacks are ... can you point me at an explaination\describe for me?
