Hello,
Till last sunday evening phone was working O.K. (more than 2 years!!!)
Overnight I charged battery.
Monday morning when I tried switch it ON,
I saw bright display and after a while SE logo & Sony Ericsson.
Unfortunately I did NOT made any backup of PhoneBook...
Two years ago I saved gdfs, but writing it into phone
doesn't make any changes...
Looking for help. please...

u have a old cid on ur phone use xs to update it to 52 then reflash with cid 52 main fs and custom pack this should solve it :-)

I mean, "main fs" and "custom pack"?

Updating CID to 52 is NOT REVERSIBLE.
Does this change restores previously removed SIMLOCK code?

u can download them from the download area update the cid wont lock the sim lock but if it has been patch unlocked when u reflash it u will have to re patch unlock it loads to take in but easy when u get the hang off it (small tip dont use the sony ericsson update service as u will end up with a cid 53 phone not to easy to unlock )

I'm Still looking for best solution of a/m problem...
Two years ago myself I updated firmware with SEUS...
My phone contains MOST PROBABLY the following firmware
(accorrding to XS++3.2 ant setool2lite-1.8 logs!!!):
1. MAIN - R1JG001_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED49
2. FS - R1JG001_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED49
3. CDA - CDA102568_2_R4A_Generic_CENT_EUROPE
And now, as I'm not very experienced in this matter,
let me ask the following questions:
- writing _ONLY_ MAIN file might help or not?
- writing 52's firmware onto 49's phone will work or not?
- writing set of files R1ED001 instead of R1JG001 will work or not?

u need to fully reflash it 1st upgrade to cid 52 then reflash with latest main fs and custom pack small tip u carnt wright cid 52 files to a cid 49 phone
