Picture messaging problem

Hi,has anyone else experienced any problems with activating the settings for picture messaging on the K800i when flashing with K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.

I have flashed 3 phones with this firmware and each time i have been able to install the settings from the Sony Ericsson website fine but when i then try to send or receive picture messages i am told the service is unavailable.

When i flash the phones with an older firmware version i am able to send and receive picture messages without a problem,am i doing something wrong or could it be a bug in the firmware itself?

Hi philzfog12,i have tried on several networks but all give the same message.

if u was on o2 or any other u can got to there web site and get the setting sent to ur phone and it will ask u if u want to save them press yes and it will instill them should solve ur problem

Hi again philzfog12,i am able to receive the settings and install them it is just that they do not work once installed.

have u gone to setting>connectivity>message settings>picture message> pick the one for u sim card

Yes but it still will not allow me to send or receive the picture messages,i have even phoned virgin and explained to them and they sent the settings but still nothing.

As i said earlier the settings will work fine using an earlier firmware version so i was thinking it could possibly be a bug in the newest firmware version but have not seen anyone else reporting the same problem.
