K530i SLEEP MODE CLOCK WHITE ON BLACK

I have managed to add the sleep mode clock to the menu but it is still dark, you have to place it under a light to see it, is there a way you can have white numbers on black background or in fact go to the old style sleep mode clock screen, I hate my phone not having a sleep mode clock, thats one bad thing sony has done removing that !!!!! also is there a way I can increase the size of the font/text in my inbox messages, at the moment I feel like I might be needing to carry a magnifine glass to read them soon !!!
