W850 White screen =/

Hey all, got this phone off a friend, whole thing works ok, accepts call and stuff but the screen just shows white, but before, with no sim card, i actually seen the screen on properly like it should be, turned it off to put my sim in and when i did it was back to normal.

any help would be great, thanks a lot guys n gals

just got some extra info, it was dropped it the sink, is it beyond repair or can it be sorted if the screen still works some times?

try replace the flexi ribbon/lcd

you can also check the lcd connector, it may get rusted

please check first flexible, almost there's the problem.
