[SOLVED] W760 debrand questions

I want to debrand my w760 currently running with Orange. I plan to use CDA Generator, a2-uploader and SEUS. Phone specs here:

1) Could I lose any phone functions by debranding?
2) How would I rebrand to Orange if I needed to later?

It depends from your operator ( branding ). But I think not.
Look in download section for orange firmware.

My debranding was unsuccessful (phone details in my first post). Here's what I did:
1)Using a2-uploader, I copied "customize_upgrade.xml" (generated by cda-generator) to tpa/preset
/custom. I made sure the file was actually copied.
2)Close FileSystem, stop, quit.
3)Switch phone on, switch phone off.
4)Update with SEUS per instructions.
According to SEUS, my phone is up to date, so the debranding failed. Same result using upper case C for filename (Customize_upgrade.xml).

Each time I retried, I noticed that the customize file that I had previously copied to tpa/preset/custom wasn't there anymore.
Is it possible that the phone filesystem deletes unknown files?

I used that method, but it didn't work out so well - I had configuration errors.
I updated with SEUS, that fixed the errors, but I still had to manually add a language.
Anyway, the main thing is that now it all works the way I want it to.
