Is my k770i fully unlocked or patched?

I have a k770i originally on UK 3 network, unlocked (verified by using Orange PAYG SIM).

I want to debrand it.

So I am wondering if my phone is fully unlocked or just patched (which I believe will relock it if I flash it).

If it is possible, please could you provide a pointer to how to debrand?

Does the fact that it is fully unlocked mean that it is not possible to accidentally revert it to locked status? :)

PS my phone is missing the part of the service menu that says whether the phone is unlocked. Which is puzzling.

did u type in <**<

i beleive orange sim cards disable this menu. You need to do the <**< at the PIN entry screen and itll tell you there

Hmmm where do I type <**<

Nothing happens when I try it on any screen.

I did try removing the sim card, the phone asks for Normal Mode or Flight Mode, and typing the <**< does nothing :confused:
