if u change ur cid from 52 to 53 and it is patch unlocked then yes u will have to do a full unlock which costs only jdflasher works on cid 53 there is no other free tools atm and if u really want to do it use sony ericsson update service its free but after that u wont be able to patch ur phone or mod it if thats what ur in to
don't change cid52 to cid53 .......... !!!!

no u dont need to unlock ur IMEI but if you want to u can call ur service provider and theyll give it 2 u 4 free

thats wrong, since 1.1.2009 cid53 is patchable and patch unlock able
there is no need to upgrade to that CID53, you wouldn't gain anything by upgrading, upgrading will cause you limitation to mod and patchQuote:
