I'd like to ask whether is it possible to change S500i's housing into w580i's housing? since my S500i has severely cracked keypad as well as some parts of the housing is scratched, i'm thinking about changing the housing.. and if it is possible i would like to change it into a w580i's housing since the software is already a w580's firmware..

yeah,sure it is...I have done it...
i hav got a w580 and i tried with s500 housing.. am gonna continue with it. this one is really cool. so u can very well proceed..

yes im sure it can be done cause ive done it to my s500
why were the S500i so plagued with breaking cases? was it a bad run of plastic in the moulding? my partners cracked in the lower corners where it met the lower part of the phone in less than a month, it was kinda weird as my Nokia had never had the problem and i've had it for over a year...
