Bricked w600i

hello all. first post from Jamaica.


i have a w600i and it has this error: " COnfiguration error. Please contact your service
provider or service center"


i tried to flash a custpack to correct it using XS ++ v 1.6.8 but it came up to a "now brute forcing this could take hours" status.

during that wait, there was a power outage. the phone shut down. i booted up bk the phone, but it's now not connecting to XS ++ 1.6.8!!!! i tried to use setool2 lite 1.08 but its not picking up the phone at all.My PC is sayint that its a "unreconised device"

can anybody tell me what to do on how to fix my phone?? plz & thanx......

u need to download a newer copy off xs 3.1 i think it is ur useing a very old one the retry to flash the custom pack again thats all that is up with ur phone and make sure u have a charged batrry

did what you said but XS v3.1 still cannot open the phone communication port!!!
the phone starts up but XS saying that it failed to open....


help!!!

P.S. my w600i can still be turned on, but it cannot connect to XS ++v3.1 nor setool2 lite v1.08. a "cannot open communication port" error appears...

do u have a flash usb sip on ur pc ?

Change usb port and then tried again and install this:

did you flash your w600 w/out flashing the CDA REGION?

in that case! you need to flash your CDA region using XS 3.1 or SETOOL

when it comes to "failed to open...." or "cannot open communication port"

you need to install the USB flash driver installation if you dont have this installation thing.. just what the other one said there ...

Hello there, just need to upload new customization file into the tpa\preset\custom directory. I got a same problem with W800 and it has benn sorted with it,now is works for me....

I had the same problem before. What I did was use setoolLite. Instead of holding the c button, I press and hold the 2+5 buttons and was able to get the phone connected without any problem.
