Regarding custom files

Took me around 7 hours yesterday to learn this modding skill for SE and not a single bit of regret haha, i felt satisfied =). Once again, thanks to everyone's help specially TOP sony.

So 7 hours i looked through a lot of post, tutorials and so on. I didnt find a post regarding custom files for XS++. What i mean is that, since im using W580, i cant find W580 under the custom file category. In the end, i choose W900's Taiwan CDA and flashed the phone with all "Taiwan" category and turns out it worked. So heres the question, whats the difference to use Other version's CDA custom files? Since my Phone is W580i, and the customized file i choose was W900, is there any difference or bad things for my 580?

if your phone support w900, I think it's no problem

bad things... except off course that your electronic phone model will be W900, should work.

usually you get a error message saying something about a configuration error and that you must contact the service provider. so not a recommended thing to do. especially if the regions of your CDA and your FS dont match. but hey!...if it works then good for you.

edit: are you actually asking if you can do it? or is it that you have done it and that your asking if there is anything bad about it?
...like i said it normally gives you and error but if you already have done it and it works then just use it, there might be just a few positions of stuff swoped around.

Or you will get a configuration error.
