Great Problem with k800i PLZ HELP..

One day suddenly my new K800i suddenly shutdown and it won't start again. The phone dosen't detect in 'C' mode... But it detects in '2+5' mode. in the SE Tools i Flushed the main and FS but no good. Then i tried to use the UNLOCK/REPAIR .. but gives the following output.. PLZ help...

I dont know the exact steps but to fix it your meant to use setool lite and xs++
hold 2+5 connect to comp
repair (setool lite)
hold c and connect to xs++
and flash the main

i already tried that.. but still not working.. I did connect using 2+5 and used repair tool but no use .. still my pc can't find it holding 'c'

did you back up gdfs try restore it
weird but its meant to be able to connect to xs++ via holding C once repaired using setool lite.

Well i know it's odd .. but it's most unfortunate for me that i don't have a backup GDFS. i want to write it, i just don't have it. Can i write the GDFS which are found in the download section of this site? will that work??

NO GDFS is your security sctor. Its specific to your phone.

You try to write a blank gdfs but will only work under certain circumstances and different cid's.

you can repair the gdfs but the link for the instructions has been removed.
someone in this forum will know how to do it.
(NOTE I CANNOT CONFIRM THAT METHOD WORKS, since i havent tried it myself)

Hi. try to reinstall flash driver to pc again to find c-connect. and if it works reflash main+fs+custom files (of same cid and version) i do that when i crach a phone, hav fun :-)))))))

wierd problem with the connecting, but if it connects then it fine. another thing is, is this really a GDFS problem? i would have said its erom since it wont turn on.
