k770i Unlocking

Hi there,

I have a k770i i'd like to unlock, i want to apply the sim lock patch with se tools but the k770i isnt listed, can i select any phone from the drop down menu or would it not work?

First of all, update setool2lite version to latest (v1.11).
Second, perform an identify to see what CID you have (if it is 52 you can patch unlock it since it is a DB2020).

You can select any DB2020 phone, and it will work.

I'm using setool2 lite v1.11 already and its cid 52 the phone.

well just drag the main of the phone to the prog .exe

i thought the phone would be cid52 when bought it but received it a few days ago and it's cid53 so i'm knackered.

I'll have to pay for a shop to do it now!

Yes, cid 53 phones you can`t unlock for free.

you can however downgrade the cid with ultimate unlocker,and then unlock it with patch
