My First SE phone - what would do ..?

First I must admit I am totally a newbie - Well ive just bought my first ever Sony Ericsson mobile phone, a k790i , its a second hand phone and seem to be working just fine, as its my first Sony Ericsson . I am now wondering if there's any thing I should be doing in the way of up dating it in any way ..? is there any thing that you can recommend I check / up date / mod . what would you do first if you bought a second hand k790i ..?

Well you could debrand which there is a lot of advantages to. But a mobile phone only needs debranding if your operater fills the mobile with all there logos, ringtones and screensavers, eg like US's AT&T or Europeons Vodafone network. Other than that the phone should be ok how it is, updating you won't see much different and patches will not work - updating is more to do with security.
