I was trying to use the Sony Update Service to update the CID of w580 from 52 to 53. But I get an error after 1%. My phone was debranded already before I tried this update. I'm not trying to debrand it again, I'm just trying to update the CID. Any help or ideas on how to do so? Thank you.
Why update via SEUS to CID53 ?
Then you cann't apply patch/es ( unlock for all SIM, elves... ) , cann't Repair EROM, cann't Reset phone lock code, cann't Back up/Restore on GDFS.

There is no problem with CID 53. The thing is that there is no free support, except for flashing. No patches, repairing, etc.
In a moment will be all CID 53 as the new firmwares are coming like this.
