Hey guys,
I tried the automatic XS++ method to update to CID52, XS did its stuff but then when I reconnected it was still showing CID49.
I tried following these instructions with SeTool2Lite k800i CID51 to CID52 not possible? - Top Sony Forums
but that still did not work.
Just for fun I even tried updating with SEUS, but it says my software is up-to-date.
Any ideas?

Did you use XS++ 3.1 Darwin or 3.2 Crystal (3.2 is beta so use 3.1)Quote:

If u use setool2lite u should use script.
and if use xs it convert automatically.
I tried atleast 10 times. Here is the log, you'll see. Basically it asks me to flash to CID52, I say Yes, it flashes it, then says it is successful, after that I disconnect and reconnect, and it gives me Did not receive 0x5a, so I take out the battery and try reconnecting and it asks me to update to CID52 again.Quote:

try use setoollite (its an alternative) if not you're just going have to record your computer so we can see exactly what youve done lol
