my CID platform for my SE t650 is CID52... but i`ve seen the latest firmware on this site for SE t650 is red53... am i able to debrand my phone using this firmware?
is it also possible to change the internet button on the T650 so that when i press it my media player comes out?

It's not recommended to upgrade your CID to 53, so use the latest CID52 firmware. In order to debrand, you should use a "generic" firmware, which means:
T650_R8BC004_MAIN_GENERIC_SN_RED52
T650_R8BC004_FS_YOUR_ZONE_RED52 and the right custom file
