Change K750i from Brown to Red
I'm trying to unlock my K750i however I've encountered a small problem along the way. SEUS won't update to the latest firmware because for some reason the phone's EROM colour is Brown rather than Red. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can either unlock the phone another way or how I can change the phone's colour to Red so I can patch it?

If I can update to firmware version R1DB001 then I can simply use the SIM-Free VKP patch to unlcok the phone

Firstly, thanks! That's actually a huge help!
Secondly, I'm having a small problem with FAR Manager. Whenever I try to make a Quick Access patch I'm being told that the header is not supported. I'm not sure what to do from here
All I wanted to do was upgrade the firmware so I could unlock the phone, but it's taken me over three hours of work and I'm still no closer :(

Make Quick Access patch with Setool2lite (use qamaker included in Setool to make patch)

I can't find the QA patch maker in SETool2 Lite. I'm running 1.11, so it's fully up to date, but I just can't figure it out. Sorry about this >.< I've been working on it for hours, but just can't seem to find the answer anywhere =/
It's because of the obscure EROM colour. If it had been Red, I could've easily VKP patched it with XS++ or SETool2 Lite, but because it's brown it's a lot harder =/

In folder Setool2lite you must have folder qamaker,open that folder and just drop your main over qamaker .exe

I haven't got it in SETool2 Lite, but I do have it with the DATool plugin I downloaded. Keeps telling me that the header is incompatible though =/

I've just realised why that error may be appearing. The QA maker is trying to make a patch for a db2020 phone when the K750i I have is a db2010 phone. No idea how to remedy this though. Can't even attempt an update via SEUS

Try just this Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums , maybe your phone don't need QA patch

use jdflasher pluggin instead.
you can flash brown phone using red flash cid49
select phone model(k750),attach dcu and connect.
select bfs and perform full flash (.mbn & .fbn)and also the cust pack on ofs.
after that,make your unlock.vkp patch by dragging .mbn to simox autopatcher.
flash the patch by using bfs.
