W380 NEW DEAD what!!!!!!!!!!!!!FLASH URGENT

hi everybody,

recently, just 2 weeks ago I got my SE W380i BRAND NEW as a gift..
The thing is that a few days after receiving it it started to turn off by itself, first started with a black kinfa grey screen then it remain in that mode until I press On and then it went on.

Today I plug it in to save some videos on it, when suddenly without reason it turns off, but this time it wont turn on again, I do not what to do, since w380 is CID53 and no program will work on it. I was told it needs to be flashed, I was going to do it but later. Even when I plug in to the charger, it will not charge or anything...

Does anybody knows whats up with this..

How to flash it if possible??

Where to flash it and how many logs??

i have never flash via website so i will need instructions, the logs i think they are 20 euros or somehing so i dont what to lose the money.. if anybody knows if its possible to revive it, please let me know....

Not a technical answer but if the phone is brand new and just died can you not get the receipt and take it back to where ever it was bought from and get a replacement? Or be able to take it to a SE service centre and get it checked there?

On the technical side, I think if the EPROM is corrupted then your phone will not turn on and appear to be dead. It works as a weird kind of safety measure if anything has happened to the EPROM. I believe that it is possible to get it flashed and repaired but not sure if it's do-able at home with that model, would need to dig around a bit to find out.

make sure your phone is unbranded because no unlocking pnx5230 is free at the moment.

prepare your .mbn & .fbn for w380 and cust pack.

perform full flash with jdflasher.(pnx 5230 flashing is free,thanks to master den_po:D)

the same thing happened to me except i bought mine off of ebay. you have to use wotan client. but you have to buy one credit for 7 euros but you dont need the credit. you just need to purchase the credit to get the login credentials then plug your phone in and it will update your eprom then you can use the credit you bought to unlock the phone or debrand it. Hope this helps

To perform a full flash for free you must use Far Manager + JD Flasher (which supports PNX).
You do not need to use a server or pay.
You only need the Main + FS + CDA (custom pack) that you desire. Remember they must be compatible.
