A LINUX How-to for the XS++ 4.1 Beta. (credits go to GarfielDD from SE-NSE)
Run these commands in the terminal.

chmod +x /your/path/to_xs/XS++ v4.1
gksudo /your/path/to_xs/XS++ v4.1

EDIT:
Alternately, you can search for libfltk1.1 in the package manager of your distro and install it and then run XS++ from the terminal.

download sensibles linux version, replace his binary with this.
open terminal CD into the directory run through ./phonexs

XS++ 3.1 does not support CID53, but the 4.1 BETA supports CID53 flashing and GDFS backup.

maybe i confused you! i mean that it supports cid53 and you work it like 3.1, easy in use?
