K800i CID53 locked again!!!!!!

Hi Friends,

I have been gone through some post in this site to unlock my SE k800i( locked to vodafone UK) successfully. I was using my pone abord with other networks. Recently, I have connected my phone to lastest SEUS ( not intenstionally).

SEUS updated my phone to CID53 and locked it to Vodafone network. This is first time i am facing this kind of problems. I love to use this phone.

Can any one please help me how can i reover my phone back to earlier version of CID ??(may be 52) or how to unlock CID 53 phone.

You can't downgrade CID53 to CID52 and you can't unlock CID53 for free,only if pay

No free solution for now.

hey man, i can't speak (or write) good english. I'm from Macedonia and i have the same problem. I have k800i from uk on vodafone. He was unlocked for other networks and worked fine. but i tried to update it with seus on internet (succesfully ). and the phone locked again. I can use just sims from vodafone. pls if u resolve the problem however tell me. Have a good luck with this, you'll need it. bye

Hey struja83, for your problem apply the same solution, your phone is now CID53 and you can´t do nothing for free, it´s not possible for now unlock for free CID53 phones.

Everybody be carefull and do not use SEUS for update your firmwares.

revert to cid 52 is impossible

Yeah CID is one time programable (OTP) and can be upraded only, not downlograded too. That makes your phone impossible to unlock via patch for free. Not completely impossible, but to unlock it you will have to pay for unlock with some of the online flashing clients that support CID53 DB2020 unlocking.

SEUS put your simlock again because you probably had your phone patched while it was CID52. :)
