Battery life of SE G502

hey guys ive just purchased a new SE G 502 a dew days back....one of the things i was really impressed with was the long battery life i had read about in reviews which led me to buy it

however now when ive got this fone the battery life isnt that god at all...ive been using it quite a lot speaking about 3 4 hours a day and maybe 1 hour of music and games but the battery life lasts me only a day...

can someone tell me :
1)is it a problem with my battery???

2)is there anyway i can increase battery life??(i have made my brightness to the minimum)is there anyway to put it on sleep mode like many nokia phones have or some other way to get the maximum battery life???

3)i read somewhere that after 2 months the battery life increases(mine is 2-3 days old)is this true????do you have to discharge it every 2 weeks or something like that???

someone please help me....i am really disappointed with this phone because of this reason...
