problem with unconnecting
When I connect with usb, my computer detects my phone and the memorycard as two different items. when I tries to disconnect they reconnect at once for several times. after many attemts they finally disconnects. however it is frustrating. any sollutions?
Re: problem with unconnecting
maybe the following:
You have internal memory and external memory. Both will be put forward as different memory devices.
Phone Memory
External Memory
If you fail to disconnect your phone properly then the computer will try to hook up to them on numerous occasions because as far as the computer knows the devices SHOULD still be there.

Re: problem with unconnecting
Yes, but is it a way to solve it?
Re: problem with unconnecting
It depends what OS your operating. If its windows, it's a glitch in the usb connectivity drivers and to be honest its best to live with it as the updates are no better.
Linux and mac just need updated drivers.
Try to turn your phone off after file transfer and see what happens rather than just unplug it.

Re: problem with unconnecting
In our family we have 3 mobilephones all SE. The problem is just with my phone-Thats the strange part. The Z550 and W850 does unconnect without problem, but not my K800.
I use MacOs X. In our laptop (pc) Vista itīs the same problem. And because of that it must be the phone itself or am I wrong? The W-phone has the same memorycard as my K-phone and when I switch cards Itīs still my K800 that irritates. Itīs so frustrating because with every attemt the antivirus apps in the computer also restarts and check for virus.....
Re: problem with unconnecting
Well im still going down the same route as the usb drivers. Z550 and w850 all use different drivers than the K800.
Try using some other drivers.
If I'm wrong I'm sure others will point you in the right direction but from my background this is the more obvious point to start with.

Re: problem with unconnecting
Ok! Thanks Lav.
But Iīm not sure if I understand...drivers in the computer or in the phone? Feel a bit stubid about it. If I plugg in on a mac the phones (and in my case the card aswell) appears on the deskboard as an external harddrive, I donīt use any apps.
If it is a driver in the phone-were can I get it?
