W580i DEBRAND ERROR!! HELP!!!

Okay, awhile ago, I posted a question about what I should do, but I didn't get a specific answer so I'm asking again.

Yesterday I attempted flashing my Sony Ericsson W580i (Canada, Rogers) with this tutorial (YouTube - How to Debrand / Unbrand you Sony Ericsson W580i for free) and the exact same files used on that tutorial. (The MAIN and FS had Asia or something on it, skip to the middle of the video and he should read out the file. If you want the exact same file name, tell me and I will redownload it and tell you.) When I finished unbranding, I charged the phone, and when I turned it on the fonts were HUUUGE!! and when I put the sim card in it said: "Configuration Error. Please Contact your Service Provider"

So the next day (this morning) I tried flashing it again, but this time using different files and a different program hoping it would overwrite everything. The program I used this time was XS+++ 3.1. The main was: "W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn" and the FS was: "W580_R6BC002_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52.fbn" and the Custpack was: "Laura_i_CDA102774_20_R1A_Generic_Trade_USA.zi p"

I forgot which tutorial I followed but I just did it how it was supposed to. But nothing happened the fonts were still too big and when I put in the sim it said "Config. Error..." I tried flashing and putting the custpack again using the same method as from this morning but nothing happened. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

You need to use matching MAIN & FS files - the same firmware version. R8BE001 is the latest for the W580. The ones listed below are what I am using, and they work fine. I have chosen not to upgrade to CID53 till XS++ supports it.
W580_R8BE001_MAIN_NAM_1_LA_RED52
W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED52
The custom file you listed -Laura CDA 102774 is fine.

Have you back up your GDFS?
It seems there is some problem with your GDFS, you can try to recover it and see...

Before recover, backup it again..

You need to add a custpack in tpa/preset/custom, but your doing it wrong, xs++3.1 should have built in custpacks so select the correct one from the drop down list, or with setool2 lite, connect your phone select phone, put that custpack you had "Laura_i_CDA102774_20_R1A_Generic_Trade_USA.zi p" in the MISC files section and press flash then connect the phone and it should upload the custpack
