Hi all,
I just flashed my K800 due to a problem i had entering the applications and games folder. The flashing proceedure seemed to work, however when i put in my sim card it keeps on saying "Insert Correct Sim". I used a european firmware, but i am using a sim card from Trinidad and Tobago, WI. Is this the source of this problem? How can i solve it? What else can be done?

i think that ur phone is lock by the network.... so u should try to unlock using setools lite n Sim Lock Patch Gen.... it should work cuz it happen to my dad fone as well
i think your phone was unlocked by patch... and after you flash it the patch disapear.. so yo have to put it again

anybody trying to flash their firmware or any software on their phone for that matter have to make sure you read the instructions on this website to make sure you do it correctly. Yes you most certainly need to flash your firmware according to what part of the world you are in. There are 3 main files you need, they obviously have to match eachother in terms of location.

i also suggest you patch with sim unlock.
but i don't believe that you really have to flash with files according to the part of the world you are in. i'm from South Africa but currently using EURO firmware.
Maybe your phone was patched unlock...and you flashing the phone may have triggered the relock...try using that patch unlock other people suggested.
Hi! I had the same problem some time ago, but i had to solve it on my k790. Reflash your phone with setool2lite, and apply a sim unlocking patch! Search the forum for more info about it!

You just need to patch SIM unlock patch if you are CID52, or pay a LOG for D-Unlocker for it if you are CID53 :D
