When i copy mp3 into the /mp3 folder on the extra memory stick it finishes copying ok, i can can browse the file on the PC and it all looks fine. When i look on my phone it cant see the memory, if i unplug the stick and put it in again non of the new files i copied are visible on the phone or on the PC ...
I have a 1 GB card with about 200 MB used, now i cant seem to add any more data because of this problem.
Please help
add it to the audio folder instead
I tried putting mp3's into the /audio folder but as soon as i unplug the usb cable the data disappears!
This is driving me crazy please help !
where did you get the memory stick from and what brand is it?
I had this problem too. It was a high speed sony 2gb ms duo pro after hours of frustration it turned out it was a counterfeit card :(
Its branded " magic gate " i think that i what is causing the problems on my phone !i will try another card and see if it helps.
i fear its a fake card.. i got dubbed lyk this once too (
turned out that when i put a new card in all my problems dissapeared, guess you were right. card was cause of all my problems.
Maybe you should try to format the memory card I had a similiar problem and it helped.
format it and try again
