MP3 Ringtones on Sony Ericsson w580i

I was wondering if anyone knew how to put entire mp3 songs as ringtones on a AT&T Sony Ericsson w580i....

I do not live in the US, but I'm guessing that AT&T has made the rule so you have to buy their ringtones and not use your own. In the UK the network that does that is Vodafone which you can overcome using a DRM patch on the MP3, unsure about AT&T. I think you should do a bit of searching on the internet, or next person who post may help you.

And the other way is to debrand the phone.

you can drm patch it, but the best way is to debrand it ( = flashing with a clean firmware) if you do that you will also lose those crappy operator dependent menu icons and stuff. in other words. you will get the phone the same way as SE makes them

Ahhh i have wanted to debrand my phone but i have heard of the errors people get when using the SeToolLite"Configuration Error, Please Contact Service Provider" and others.....I was scared i messed my phone up and couldnt use warranty.....And i was wondering if you could give me some more info on this DRM Patch cause i searched forums for it but no luck...Thanks
