Are you sure it's a w700 problem, can it be your mobile operator problem?

Watch your Network Bars on the phone display ? Does it shows strong signal ?? if not then u may have hardware problem.
If the Network strength bars changes from strong to weak then it could be software problem ( although it is a rare case in W700 )
