k800i sound recorder

i was wondering if it is possible for the K800i sound recorder to record in mp3 format or if there is an application that can do this

well, i guess a firmware patch will be needed, caz i personally think the mic of the phone can record at higher quality, its just that they've limited the input to 8kHz caz of GSM limitations.

I dont think its possible since the phone is not that open to modify that much.. So far, i havent seen any patch that can do that.. Sorry dude..
