Yes I'm new...but I'm completely lost (K850i)

I have a K850i in blue (not sure if that even makes a difference because some people on the net seem to be saying it does).

My phone was sat on my desk and nobody touched it...I didn't drop it....nothing.....and it was dead when I picked it up.

I turnt it off and back on and all that happens now is the keys flash and it vibrates slightly and the blue ring around the camera lens flashes.

What has happened? What can I do?

I tried the update service on the website that Sony Ericsson support on the phone advised me about.

does your lcd turn on (the screen) ?

do you here anyhting from the speaker as if the phone is booting up?

you have the BLUE RING OF DEATH. there are more stories about this on the net. the only thing you can do is take it to a service center. so i hope you still have waranty

Wasn't it the red ring of death for XBOX 360?
