CID53 patch compatibility

Hello, I have noticed that the R8BF003 firmware is available for both cid52 and cid53 k800s. Does this mean that as soon as we can fully flash and patch cid53 phones we will be able to apply all cid53 R8BF003 patches to the cid 53 version of the firmware?

I have read somewhere that the firmwares may not be the same although I thought the cid version was simple the phones security and not the actual firmware :confused: - also I used many cid 36 patches on my cid 49 k750 without problem, so does this mean the same for cid52/cid53?

No, currently has no program that can apply patches on CID53.

I understand there is currently no problem to patch cid53 phones yet, although if and when a program capable of this does become available will the patches from before still work?

Those patches WILL work of course, because the R8BF003 CID52 and R8BF003 CID53 firmwares are basicly the same(this is true for all firmwares), only the protection scheme differs.

You have to apply 2 patches to enable the elves.
So... you'll have to wait for these patches for CID53 in order to use the elves :(

Yes, like I said, all patches will work with CID53 too, including the elf pack.

but you cant get back to CID 52 is that true?

Yes, cann't back to CID 52 ( only new CID 54, 55, 56.... )
