Help W660i firmware disaster

Hello wonder if anyone can help. Bit new to all this so please bear with me..!

I have a w660i on 3 network that I have been trying to unlock to Orange.

I have uploaded using XS++ new firmware which appears to be incorrect as I now get a configuration error.

The files I uploaded were

W660_R6BC002_FS_HUTCH_1_RED52.fbn

W660_R6BC002_MAIN_HUTCHISON_FY_RED52.mbn

I have no idea what the correct files were in the first place!!

I also have the SETool2 software which I think I can use to unlock it. I cannot connect using this software but I can usung XS++.

My question is:

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can fix the firmware issue and the unlock issue.

You should use the newest MAIN.
Its W660_R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC_FY_RED52.mbn
And say me please which languages you want to use.

The firmware file is correct. The configuration issue mean you missed the Finalization step after flashing

These files are correct if you want keep brand and personalization of 3 network. For generic firmware use the more updated R8BB001_MAIN_GENERIC files. Dont remember the custom pack file too.

Same procedure for XS++. Try Identify button to test connection

Load custom pack for solving configuration error. For unlock read this guide:

Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Thanks for your messages it is appreciated. The landuage I want to use is UK English. I will try those copeis of the firmware tonight. One quick question, what is the finalisation step?

you have to custumize your phone to solved the configuration error....using xs++3.1
