Loosing the will to live.....
I think I've buggered up my w300i good and proper. First tried unlocking it with TMS and that complained the firmware version needed updating and then left it with a white screen.
Tried flashing the original firmware MAIN and FS that worked OK. Then tried flashing the customization files which failed. Now I cant get anything to work.
Just get the following, any ideas anyone ?

......
First you must flash File System ( FS ), then make customize File System ( CDA ) and finish with flashing Main Generic.
Re: Loosing the will to live.....
when your phone is good and buggerd... try going to the sony site and downloading sone updater, and run your phone through that you will get the latest firmware :)

And lastest CID 53 :D ( do NOT update via SEUS -> CID 53 )
Then cann't use unlock patch or patches for W300.
Re: Loosing the will to live.....
Cheers guys,
Spent a fair amount of time trying to sort this out last night. Seems that the problems I get seem to change with the weather. Some times its not detected, sometimes it is etc.
Could this be a problem with the battery ? It wasn't fully charged in the first place and like I said I have spent a fair amount of time p*ssing around now.
I did manage to actually flash the fs and main firmware with XS++. Then moved on to customization and it just hung half way through. Still the dreaded white screen.
Re: Loosing the will to live.....
use setool2 lite to flash & customize, i always use setool to upload files to my w300i.
