After debranding question about Volume Button
I finally debranded my w580i and I'm loving it so far. I just have one problem. It's really not a problem, but I'd like to try to fix it.
After debranding and using the customization pack, the rocker (volume) button on the side doesn't control the volume. Whenever I push the button it brings up the Phone Status.
How can I change it back to controlling the volume? Is this something I need to use XS++ 3.1 for?
Re: After debranding question about Volume Button

What does that mean? I don't follow.
It should control the ringer volume.
Re: After debranding question about Volume Button
You can control volume with volume buttons only when you play music, video, etc. Ringer volume can be controled in Settings.

So is that the way Sony designed it to be? Because before debranding, it controlled the ring volume without going into settings.
Re: After debranding question about Volume Button
Yeah, this has been bugging me, too. I think it is just a matter of making the button hook for the rocker in the custpack (maybe the FS?) I have been searching for a little bit, but to no avail. This also is the same behavior that locks the up button to camera, which I despise. I will let you know what I find.
