Updating firmware through SEUS clears sim lock patch?
Basically, the question in the topic title.
I know that flashing a new MAIN will clear the SIM lock patch and I'll basically have to reapply the patch. Or I can do both (flash new MAIN and apply patch) using SEToolLite 2, but that's beside the point.
My question is regarding SEUS. What happens if update the firmware using SEUS? Will it clear the SIM lock patch?
Yes, I know most of the updates are upgrading phones to CID53 but that doesn't tell me if the SIM lock patch will be removed or not.
Please, enlighten me...

If SEUS Finds You Phone Patched, It Will Relash Your MAIN Which Will Remove All Patches Inc. SimLock. It Will Also Upgrade To CID53 After Which You Wont Be Able To Unlock It Via A Patch.

It will remove sim lock patch and upgrade to CID53

CID = This "number" defines the version of SE's protection present in the phone.New CIDs are deployed from time to time, for the sole reason of preventing them from beeing unlocked/flashed/tampered with by non-SE service tools. i have a k850i which have been upgrade to CID53! is there are any tools where i can downgrade back to CID 52??

No, only non-SE service tools. You can flash your phone with:
