W880i - updating CID51 to CID52 fails

Hi!

I want to patch unlock my W880, but when I try to update it from CID51 to CID52 it doesn't work.
I have tried both with xs++ and SETool lite (+ patch).

It seems to work, but when I reconnect it to my pc, I can see that the W880 remains at CID51.

My IMEI starts with 35159602, which from what I have seen, isn't supported (at least by the SETool lite patch).

I have spent the last 2 days learning all about unlocking my phone, but I can't seem to find a solution to my problem, nor many people with it.

Anyone knows why this is happening?
Solution or alternatives?

Try to connect it with XS++ 3.1 and at the prompt click yes. Post your log (before and after).
OR try with Setool2lite with this patch:

I compared your SETool patch with the one I used and noticed they are different. So I tried using SETool with your patch but it still failed to update the phone to CID52.

@flaare flash with XS++: FS CID 51, CDA and Main CID 51 then try again to connect with XS++ and click YES to update your CID51-> 52.

Senter, it didn't work. Still CID51.

Ok, I managed to update to CID52.

Used Setool lite + the first patch I had tried. But this time I didn't turn on the phone after executing the patch and before reconnecting it.

I had read to turn ON the phone after writing the script, but apparently it was bad advice.

Anyway, it's done. I'm happy.
