I see in the downloads area there are a few R8BE001 Europe FS files.. Europe1, 2 3 etc. so is there any particular one I should try?

Hi hope someone can help im new to all this phone stuff my friend sold me his sony ericsson k800i its locked to 3 network and im on vodafone so he phoned them and they said even though hes outwith his contract he will still have to pay £15 for network code so i phoned my local phone shop who has unlocked for me before and he said will cost me £20 because i need to flash the phone? so he advised check the net as the software is out there is it possible to reset this phone to sony ericssons settings before 3 put all these locks in it any help would be great thanx

i cant find the file:S plz can you help as soon as posssible?

The file will be called gdfs_[some number which is your IMEI].bin if that's what confuses you.

no iv opened the setool2lite file and then it has gone to the folder with more folders
which say
drivers
logs
make_rest
ph_out and so on

where might the file be then??

batesy3: It's located in the main SE Tool lite folder, not in the subfolders.
Did you extract SE Tool lite or is it still in the rar/zip archive?!
