how do i unlock SE s001?

Hello there! I just received a SE S001 from my friend in japan. I intend to use it here in the Philippines. Is there a way for me to unlock this phone; how and how much would it cost me? Hope someone could help. Thanks!

thanks venkat for the valuable info. however, i can't find my cellphone on the list. it seems that there is still no unlock code yet for the sony ericsson s001.. hope that someone would be able to help me on this one.. thanks a lot! cheerio! :D :D :D
