debrand w810i

Hi im new to debranding and never done it b4, iv put flash menus an stuff on a w580i that was already debranded but now i want to debrand my gf's w810i.
Here is the info i have -

Could sum1 please tell me exactly which FS, MAIN and Cust pack id need, also does the phone have to be debranded to use the simlock patch and how do u also install the patch.

What you necessary are MAIN and FS generic + custom pack FS related. But before you need to know the CID of phone and download MAIN+FS+CP cid related. To know the CID use XS++ or Kulankendi or D-Client or Setool2lite.

I would sugest you stick with R4EA031, so just grab a GENERIC_MAIN for that firmware version. Hope that its a cid 49 because it is deffinitly the most customizable firmware version (if not your going to have to get a CID50 GENERIC_MAIN). Then just take a look at the Languages Description page here and pick a FS that has the languages that you want. All you need to do then is to download a suitable custpack that goes with the FS. Then just upload them all to your phone and your done. I assume you know how to do that already since you have already debranded your w580i

FW,FS and custpack would depend on your area. Check the CDA list on topsony and download the required ones.
AFAIK debranding is only to remove the operator logo and other junk. You dont need to debrand to unlock. And you can patch unlock easily, and for free :), using Simox's patcher.

hi setoollite said the phone is cid50, i also tried to use the simlock patch but it didnt work, so whats the best way to debrand the phone. also o havent been here long enough for free downloads is there sumwhere else i can get the files i need to flash the phone.

Hi, i tried usin xs++ and it wouldnt work i got prologue: failed or something and it stuck on activating gdfs, so i have to use setoollite.
Anyway i looked in the download section and can sum1 tell me if these r ok for the phone:
W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED50

W810_R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED50 cos i couldnt find europe_1 but this has english language. and custom pack im not sure about, but was thinking 1 of these 2 would be ok

The problem is i found the main and fs but i cant find either of the cust packs anywhere. Could sum1 please confirm i have chose the right main and fs and if them cust packs r ok, also mayb suggest another cust pack i could use.
Also is there sumwhere that shows how to debrand usin setoollite.
My phone is cid50. any help is greatly appreciated.

Well if all you need is english, then it doesn't matter at all what FS you get since they all have english. But if you wanted to use EUROPE_2, then the MAIN and FS work fine for your phone. As for the cust pack, have you tried looking on xs++? I know that it has quite a few custpacks built into it. Couldn't tell you for sure if the one you need is on it since i got to admit I'm a bit to lazy at the moment to go find the cable and plug my phone in to check.

what does this mean also at the bottom it seems stuck on sending flashblock 1/344, i stopped the flash after 30 mins of not doing anythin and doesnt seem to have affected the phone, but why didnt it work. Plz sum1 help

it's probley a bug with xs++, i don't think xs++ likes cid:50 phones try setool2 lite 1.08
