Hi,this tutorial i got it from se-nse special thanks to qwerty 12 who is owner of this tutorial.
I thought I may as well write this one up to get other people into acoustic files as well. My pack is loud but I am sure that there is someone out there that can do louder. cool.gif
What you need:
An SE phone which uses the APF format blink.gif glare.gif
And the stuff we will be downloading.

Getting our base acoustics (I will not include screenies here because if you can't tell what to do here ; then I
would advise you to go.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Base acoustics are what you start your modding from.
Base files are usually overwritten by other louder files people have made.
I will use W810 acoustics and mongooses's phf2play for simplicity (when you get the hang of acoustic mixing ; mix files from many places).
1.Download the W810 acoustics from here: http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?s=&...ost&p=75136
2.Download http://clubw800i.acoustic.googlepage...2_play_003.zip
3. Extract the acoustic folder from the W810 acoustics and replace the phf_2_play file with the one in the zip file above.
There you have it! An simple acoustic mix with louder sound (not as loud as my packs though tongue.gif)
Of course you could find your own acoustic files and add them in and test them.

What do the letters mean?

Thanks to Adow of se-tuning where I got this list.
What do the letters in the acoustic mean:
BT... BlueTooth handsfree
BTC... BlueTooth Car handsfree

DSS... Not known
Farfield... Back speaker of the phone (although farfield_call is for the front speaker AFAIK)
Handset... This one is for the loudspeaker during calls
LO... Not known
PHF... Portable Handsfree (but changes to PHF_2_play seems to affect the whole phone wink.gif )
TTY... No idea WTF this one is. Thanks to Nirodha - Here.
VHF... Vehicle Handsfree
Call - er you really need to ask tongue.gif
FM - Radio
Play - Used when songs are played through the media player/Walkman
Rec - Voice Recorder control file
Ring - Ringtone acoustic file.

Editing the acoustic files
--------------------------------------
Full credits to Darkmen BTW for giving us this way to edit acoustics.
1. Get winhex and install from http://www.x-ways.net/winhex.zip (yes its a trial. All im going to say is look at Darkmen's original post on here about the apf format.)
2. Get the template from http://rapidshare.com/files/18178038/SE_APF.tpl.html and save it in your Winhex folder in Program files.
Now the fun begins.
1. Open winhex and the acoustic file you want to mod. (In this example I am opening up farfield_play file):
2. Open the template manager (View>Template Manager...) and click on SE APF and apply.
3. Find the RXVOL1 and RXVOL2 option and edit them to your liking. An value higher than 5 MAY cause distortion.
4.Close the template and winhex saving your changes.
5. Use whatever method of transferring the acoustic files to the phone.

Thanks to Nirodha for this info:

AUXI1_TXGAIN, AUXI2_TXGAIN controls the volume of the input eg for radio
MIC1_TXGAIN controls the volume of the microphone on the phone. (for Phone calls and Recording)
AUXI3_TXGAIN controls the volume of microphone on the handsfree headphone.
EnhancedEchoCanceller controls if you have the echo cancel on or off (for phone calls)
