K800i Patch Unlock FAULT

Hi,

Im trying to unlock my K800i CID:52 R1JC002 Phone.

Ive Flashed these files
K800_R1JC002_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52.fbn
K800_R1JC002_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn
K800i_CDA102511_153_R1A_Generic_Trade_UK_United_Ki ngdom

Now here is my problem, After flashing the phone and it working fine i try to Run the DB2020 Patch unlock proceedure by SIMOX.

1. Backed up the GDFS file ok.

2.Created My Quick Acess file and added the MAIN into the correct places, clicked the Bypass db2020 security tab and clicked flash, connected the phone and it started doing.

During Process 3 i removed battery and reatatched phone to pc it continued to the following message:



Now the phone is bricked (i know how to recover it)

Any idea were t go from here?

this happened to me on my K800i R1KG001 CID52 as well... i just kept trying to connect to the PC, and found that it finds it easier if you swap the USB port your using the cable under. if you get XS++ to detect the phone, you can fix it by just re-flashing your MAIN, FS and CDA files. you can also use SEUS (SonyEricsson Update Service) to de-brick your phone, but you could very easily end up with CID53, and the only way to patch / hack CID53 is with JDflasher...

I can recover the Phone every time using Setool lite.

The problem im trying to resolve is actually how to unlock the damn thing.

use the removed simlock patch files after doing the quick access patch....
try to unlock again ang now use the removed simlock vkp files .your phone will be unlock

Im not sure how i can put this across more clearly!

I am using Simox Patch unlock just like was recommended and i am using his instructions for db2020.

I am getting stuck at the first stage.

help please.

For some unknown reason (to me) some users get this error. The only workaround I know is to apply the patches with jdflasher. It will work for sure.
