hey i bought a phone the other day off this guy but he gave me the phone with a phone lock on it....is it possible for me to get it off without bringing it in or paying for it to get done or no?

If your phone is EROM CID 52, follow this unlocking tutorial:B. How to apply generated patches to DB2020 CID52 phones. If it's CID53, you'll have to wait in order to unlock for free.
