    Replacing microphone on W810..

Anyone tried to desolder and solder on a new microphone on this phone?...
Guess I must use hot air soldering equipment or maybe IR heating..
And where to buy such a spare part...Not EBay, Chinese replicas not for me, I need original OEM spareparts..

    Advice needed please..

if your mic is damaged take the phone to a sevice center, you can/t do that at home cuz the soldering is very fine and and you could damage something elso too.

Offcourse, I wont replace the mic unless it defective, its due to a liquid damage, and therefore I believe a service center wont touch it..

With the proper soldering equipment, it should be fairly easy ro replace this mic..But I dont have a hot air soldering station...

I belive the service center will touch it if you pay, i think you don't have warranty, so you don't have anything to lose. I hope you'll fix the phone :) cuz it's a pitty for the phone, it's great :D Good luck!

Well for the safety of your phone just bring it to a SE service center. Pay for the service instead rather than spending on the equipment that you will use. It will be safer in their hands. But if you opt to do it then my regards and good luck to you...
